Amazing! I held my baby shower Sunday morning with 15 attendants and this was the perfect venue. We had an upstairs room partitioned off with a half curtain for a bit of privacy from other patrons. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous as is, but they welcomed us to decorate to our preference. I wanted "winter woodland" and this couldn't have been a more perfect space that just naturally fell into that theme! We had a mimosa bar, fruit bowl, and popovers with cream, vanilla raspberry spread, and caramel sauce. A French press coffee service was brought out between appetizers and brunch. The drinks we're absolutely lovely! The decaf coffee didn't even need creamer--so smooth. The service was absolutely amazing. With the half curtain, we we're in full view of the bar, so at all times the servers could see when we were ready for the coffee service, when the mimosa bar needed restocking, when the plates needed to be cleared, and waters refilled. They were prompt, polite, and added wonderfully to the experience. I had 3 choices for brunch: chicken and waffles, eggs benedict, and cheese omlette. Each dish was absolutely WONDERFUL and the perfect amount of food. I had the chicken and waffles and was so happy with it! Since we started with appetizers, the brunch portion was just enough for each guest to finish the plate and not be overly full. I asked around and each guest enjoyed her breakfast immensely. Carte Blanche was so accommodating and kind while we played a little game, unwrapped presents (they even brought out a trash hamper just for wrapping paper!), and welcomed the smokers to step out on the upstairs patio. When our party was over, they even helped me walk my presents out to the car. Truly above and beyond! I absolutely cannot say enough nice things about this experience. The venue, the food, the drinks, the service--everything came together into the most perfect baby shower a girl could ever dream of! Thank you so much for making the day so special not just for me, but for all my guests. If you have a shower coming up, I can not think of a better place to host it!

Omg so cutting edge and delicious. A "must try" if you're in Hamburg. Summer menu was amazing. The hot pepper dip appetizer was huge. The daily special did not disappoint. Our waitress knew the menu intimately and was very "bar knowledgeable." Can't wait to go back and try more apps. And entrees!!!

We began with the Caesar salad which was very good. Their house dressing was creamy and flavorful. Then I got the chicken Parmesan, and my boyfriend got the lobster pasta. We both ordered the gluten free pasta; which was great to hear they had! We each had a glass of wine with dinner. Both were great. I had the Crios Malbec (red) and he the Moscato D’asti (sparkling white) The red sauce with the chicken parm was sweet and super flavorful. The lobster pasta had great claw meat and was also delicious!

Visited Carte Blanche a couple days ago, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and setting. The side outside seating, reminded me of a street cafe on Mulberry St, in NYC, obviously reminiscent of Italian bistros. The complimentary pop-overs were warm and tasty with the red roasted butter. My bf enjoyed a nice IPA in a “real man’s” mug as he calls it (tall Steiner). The waitress was kind and complimented us both as a couple. The service was slow as to be expected in these times, but the owner Tim, present at on site was completely gracious and apologetic for our wait, and comped our entire meal. The lobster Bucatini was excellent with a smooth buttery creme sauce and no shortage of lobster claw meat. The chicken Parmesan was plentiful, my bf had enough for seconds. This is a sweet spot for a quaint date night with sweet oysters or a brunch and drink with the girls. We will surely return despite the wait, as the staff and owner provided great customer service and the food was delectable and exquisitely made.

One of the best brunches I have ever had. I went with my husband and a friend, and we shared the bread plate, which had popovers, fresh breads, apple butter and fresh butter to share. It was to die for- the largest popovers I have ever seen. I then had the french toast, which was incredible, sticky, sweet, and delicious, with an aromatic twist of rosemary and orange in the mix. My friend and I shared the grits, which was a delicious and creamy delight added to our already decadent meal. My husband had an omelette with a salad (he has dietary restrictions) and that was wonderful as well. We shared a large french press of coffee, and hung around for a few hours, talking, nibbling and enjoying ourselves. We were not rushed out or made to feel we were taking up space or time- we were allowed to just be lazy and enjoy the late, long morning. It was such a delight- we even got to speak with the Chef, who was such a wonderfully sweet and open man, and talked about the different things we ate and answered our questions on what flavors we were tasting in our various dishes. He mentioned they make their own pasta and gnocchi, and I can't wait to go back and try that.

This restaurant was amazing in every way. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The ambience was romantic and elegant. We started with the complimentary popovers and calamari. For our entrees we got the lobster bucatini and the crab stuffed salmon. For dessert we got the tiramisu and cannoli cheesecake which was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! 100% recommend this place! Mallory was our server and she was great, very sweet and attentive.

Delicious, fresh food! The chicken breast on my salad was very tender. Service was perfect and atmosphere is very welcoming. Lighting is minimal at the tables, so we had a very difficult time reading the menu (even with glasses lol). Overall, a delicious meal.
